Lisianthus Phytotoxicity: can appear in a variety of ways. On this Lisianthus, soil applications of one of several new fungicides resulted in speckling (dead areas) between the veins of the leaf. The same sympton is caused by lack of water. Botrytis Blight: on Lisianthus appears on flowers and stems near the soil. The fungus, B. cinerea, can kill Lisianthus from plugs to finishing and even during cut flower production.

Marigold Powerdery Mildew: on Marigold appears when conditions are moderate in temperature and humidity. The frosty white patches of fungal growth appear on both leaf surfaces. Fertilizer Rate: had dramatic effects on growth of these Marigolds. Those on the far left are over-fertilized showing excess top growth and poor root development. Those on the far right are under-fertilized and show poor top growth and excess root development.
